Santa Fe is the perfect place for a peaceful early morning stroll. The streets in the historic district are quiet; the tourists have not yet arrived. The colors are muted; shadows turn the clay-colored adobe into dark masses. I stumbled upon a beautiful church, and while it may have lacked the same rich history as Santa Fe’s mission (pictured here in my last post), it made up for it in the beauty of the smooth adobe and earth-tone structure.
