2017: My Year in Photos


It’s that time again, where we alternate between looking ahead to the new year, while also reflecting on the past one. I’m sharing five favorite photographs that I took in 2017.

I’ve been thinking about the “themes” that recurred throughout 2017 for me, and have settled upon two: introspection and transition.

Andie-in-AzerbaijanI took a new job, traveled to new countries and new states, and explored the city I live in. I made an effort to be present and mindful. Looking back, I’m happy. Looking forward, I’m happy.
