I’m fresh off the plane after a one week adventure in Moldova, Georgia, and Azerbaijan. While I get back on a regular sleeping pattern and sort through my photos, here are some snapshots of an architectural highlight from my trip:
The Heydar Aliyev Center in Baku, Azerbaijan. The Center was designed by Zaha Hadid and was completed in 2012.
The Center is a symbol of modernity surrounded by a green public space; standing in front of it, staring up, I couldn’t help but feel like I had been transported into the future.
Perfect timing for Cee’s Black and White Challenge: Buildings.
